Quick Start

Get up and running with Bareuptime in just a few minutes.

Sign Up​

  1. Visit bareuptime.co
  2. Click "Sign Up" and create your account
  3. Verify your email address

Create Your First Monitor​

  1. Navigate to Monitors: Click on "Monitors" in the sidebar

  2. Add New Monitor: Click the "Add Monitor" button

  3. Configure Monitor:

    • URL: Enter the URL you want to monitor (e.g., https://example.com)
    • Name: Give your monitor a descriptive name
    • Check Interval: Choose how often to check (1 min, 5 min, etc.)
    • Timeout: Set the timeout for requests (default: 10 seconds)

  4. Save: Click "Create Monitor"

Set Up Notifications​

  1. Go to Notification Settings: Click on "Settings" → "Notifications"

  2. Add Notification Channel:

    • Email: Add your email address for alerts
    • Slack: Connect your Slack workspace
    • SMS: Add your phone number (premium feature)

  3. Configure Alert Rules:

    • Choose when to receive notifications (immediately, after 3 failures, etc.)
    • Set up escalation policies

View Your Dashboard​

Once your monitor is running:

  • View real-time status on your dashboard
  • Check response times and uptime statistics
  • Review historical data and trends
